Monochrome Display
A monochrome display refers to a type of display that can only produce images in a single color, typically black and white. Unlike color displays that can reproduce a range of colors, monochrome displays are limited to variations in brightness to create the illusion of different shades of gray. Monochrome displays were common in early computer monitors and terminals, and they are still used in certain applications where color reproduction is not critical or where the simplicity of black and white is preferred. Examples of monochrome displays include black and white monitors, e-readers with grayscale screens, and some specialized industrial displays.
